Who am I and what do I do?

Its a rather odd situation that has led up to this point. Unlike many of my colleges that I know, I never experienced the joys of the Video Game Industry as a child. But that eventually changed, as soon it became a center staple of my life. During this time, something peculiar happened. During a match of Halo 3, I remember looking off the top of a building, looking across the map, and decided that I wanted to create works of art as beautiful as what I was seeing.

Since then I have made it my goal to grow as a designer,  and sharpen my skills  through practice in and out of the classroom. I have worked on several projects within the last few years ranging from a 2-D sidescroller, to a First Person Shooter, and Action Adventure title.  Throughout this time, I've learned how to improve my abilities and workflow, not only within engine, but in documentation as well. One of the key areas that I have spent time in developing my skills in Level Design Documentation. This semester alone I was required to create three separate Level Design Documents, with one being constantly updated. This alone has helped me firmly grasp the processes for implementation of levels both inside and outside the engine.
